BatiPASS is a register of all data relating to a building throughout its life cycle.
It contains the building's administrative documents as well as data relating to its location and plot, its technical and functional characteristics and its environmental, social and financial performance.
It is a living document, containing both static, traceable “as-built” building data and a continuous, dynamic history of performance data and information.
The information required, exchanged, and produced by buildings throughout their lifecycle is considerable in volume, spans a long period, and is highly diverse. Too often, these data are neither accessible, nor lasting, nor interoperable. This leads to extra costs, loss of efficiency, lack of transparency, increased risk, and missed opportunities.
